Frequently asked questions

What school leaders usually ask.

Can we use School Nurse Italy only for replacements?

Yes. The Cover plan is designed for schools that already have an internal nurse and need a structured relationship for planned or unexpected absence.

Does the annual retainer guarantee every requested deployment?

It provides onboarding, priority handling and an agreed operating process. Each deployment is confirmed according to location, timing, language, scope and professional availability.

Can you take responsibility for the complete school health service?

Yes. The agreed scope can begin with assessment and consultancy, then include setup, nursing rosters, daily infirmary operations, authorised information workflows, continuity planning, supplies, procedures, staff readiness, reporting and annual review.

What do you manage beyond the nurse's on-site hours?

The agreed scope can include student health workflows, authorised family communication, first-aid and incident registers, stock controls, school-doctor coordination, trip preparation, staff readiness and leadership reporting.

Can you cover boarding houses and extended school hours?

Yes. Campus and boarding agreements can define evening, overnight, weekend and residential-programme cover, subject to onboarding, agreed activation windows and confirmed professional capacity.

Can one agreement cover several campuses?

Yes. School-group agreements can centralise standards, procurement, pooled hours or credits and leadership reporting while keeping a local campus contact.

Can you support documented student health needs?

The nursing team can support physician-approved care plans and prescribed therapies within professional scope, consent, the agreed responsibilities and the school’s documented workflow.

Do you replace emergency services?

No. The school nurse provides assessment, first response and escalation within the agreed scope. Emergency services remain the reference for emergencies.
